The Community Recreational Initiatives Society (CRIS)is a unique non-profit and charitable organization that uses adaptive equipment, enabling people of all abilities and disabilities to interact with the GREAT OUTDOORS.
Most imporantly CRIS creates memories, through a team of people that work together to break down barriers, and create an inclusive world that all people can enjoy.
BC PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS BURN FUND
The British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund is
dedicated to burn prevention as well as survivor support and recovery programs in the province of British Columbia. The organization is committed to providing financial assistance for the purchase of equipment, training of medical staff and the operation of a children's burn survivor camp.
BOYS + GIRLS CLUBS OF CANADA
A Safe, Enriching and Fun Place to Go When School is Out Our clubs offer children, from pre-school to young adulthood, a safe place to channel their energies into positive, challenging activities that encourage
personal growth, learning, community involvement and healthy living. The Boys and Girls Club has an excellent facility in West Kelowna, utilizing the old
elementary school on Inverness Road.
